We love the 20s and 30s styles and fabrics! That's why we chose to include this 20s-30s chiffon day dress pattern (we call this style the "Lorraine" Party Day Dress) with our standard offerings. This print-chiffon party dress is the greatest! I mean, it's a great dress for wearing (fits right into todays styles), for theme parties, or for costume use in the theater: shows like MAME,THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, THE BOYFRIEND, SINGING IN THE RAIN, ANYTHING GOES--among others.

Shown here with a vintage cloche hat and string beads (sold separately), the outer-dress is made of print chiffon and is the epitome of the scarfy, cape look so loved during that period. The bodice has a dropped waist, armhole binding and side-snap closure. Included is the tiny flower corsage and striped bow waist sash.
The skirt boasts a flared cut and a dipped (uneven), scalloped hem that was all the rage in the 1920s. (These are now back in style!)
Included is a light-green, fitted, A-line poly/rayon slip that has shoulder straps and side vents.
This particular "Lorraine" dress is a burgundy, lime-green, brown, rose pink, lavender, orchid, and white chiffon with an under-dress that is light-green polyester satin (matte). This dress is a size small.

Care: This dress fabric is hand-washable or gentle machine wash for both under-dress and over-dress. Line dry, please. The dress and slip can also be dry cleaned. I would dry clean the hat. Nylon gloves can be hand washed in cold water.
