This little high-waisted dress is a real cutie, and another dress with the "New Look" influence.
Its made of a cotton/polyester blend, and boasting another blend--in the zipper. The back zipper is a plasic one, with a metal pull and is fully functional. These elements place the dress in the mid 1960s.The top is fully lined with a white blend of the same fabric, and the straps can be let out 1 1/2 inches if needed.
The tag reads "Picture Me", and the square neckline could indeed make a lovely photo. It's classic late 50s, early 60s and versatile enough to go through the summer and into the fall easily.

Fall print colors beg for a little sweater to "go with"! (It would look so cute with one of those knitted short cardigans or shrugs so popular right now--or with a cardigan from the period flung casually over the shoulders).
There is no size tag in the dress, so we will use measurements for a good fit.

The condition of this dress is excellent. It is clean and ready to wear. I see not a hole, stain, or fabric pull. There are not any odors. It comes to you clean and ready to wear, but to freshen in the future it can be hand-washed or machine washed on extra gentle cycle/cold. I would hang to dry or dry on air fluff cycle and use a warm iron if needed. |
