What an awesome jacket--soft pink, with an original closure (oversized pink same fabric covered button), and lined with a soft taffeta. There is no better color to compliment anyone's complexion, and this pink was unique to the 1940s.
Called a "topper" during the period, this forerunner of the "car-coat" of the 1950s, this swing jacket is easy to throw on with your jeans and run to the store, or it can be worn with dresses--as it was at the time. Very full cut, which is nice if you like wearing yummy sweaters underneath. Could even be used for your maternity period and after!
The tags in the jacket read: "Style Trends of California". Size tag is unreadable, so we will measure for a good fit.
