This 50s daydress in china silk blue and gold persian print has classic "New Look" styling with a fitted bodice and full, pleated skirt.
To keep anything from obscuring the lovely squared neckline, the maker has added crocheted bra strap loops with snaps. It has it's original metal and functional side zipper. The box pleated skirt gives way to lovely movement--whether its walking or dancing!
The dress is in Very Good + condition. I see no stains, holes, pulls or anything detracting from the beauty of this piece. The only thing keeping it from an Excellent rating is that there is some slight fading on the facing inside the dress, but nothing seen when worn.

This is classic 50s styling and nothing is lovelier on a woman's body than that! A very versatile dress, it would look smashing anywhere from shopping, a wedding, clubbing, or even a stroll on the beach--shoes in hand!. Speaking of shoes, this classy dress would look lovely with period pumps (fabric-covered, not leather), strappy metal-toned sandals, or dressy flats.
