Sixties styling but still authentically Hawaiian. Made of cotton barkcloth, with an empire waist and full cut princess back, this dress is made to cover-up at the beach when the ocean winds blow or to wear to a Luau or block party.
The front bodice has a faux "frog" closure. Built in bra strap gives support and allows the lovely empire waist to fit snugly to the body. Original and functional back zipper and neckline hook. Hemmed front slit allows for freedom of movement. 1.5" usable hem. Dress is machine washable cold; drip dry.
Measurements are:
Bust: 34-36"
Sleeve Length: 4" top
1" underarm
Underarm to hem: 47"
Underbust to slit: 25.5"
Condition: Excellent
Great for a swim-suit coverup, beachfront shopping, or a stroll on the beach.
Of course it goes without saying that this dress, as with any of these leisure dresses, could be easily cut short for a different look, or even made into a cute, longer top! |
