Fancy Antique Victorian Calligraphy "Lord Shall Guide Thee Continually" / Artist: HKS
This is a rare and fancy antique Victorian calligraphy with the sentiment "Lord Shall Guide Thee Continually". Multi-colored, ornate, hand-written lettering. Elaborate, fine details within the lettering. Hand-colored floral designs. Vibrant colors throughout. There appears to be a signature beside the word "thee" – HKS. This piece itself is in excellent original condition, except for a very thin water mark on the 2 sides and the top. There is also a shaded area running from top to bottom in the middle - visible in the photo. This calligraphy is in its original wood frame with gold-leaf facing and original glass. It is in excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. Original wire hanger. This is a one of a kind piece. This creative, handmade calligraphy offers a rare glimpse into Victorian religious art.
