“Her Prayer” Little Girl Prays to Mary Statue Inspiring Print / Artist: Lasabach This is a charming print of a sweet, young little girl in her nightgown, down on her knees, praying to a statue of Mary atop her night table. The child’s eyes are full of lively expression. The side of the night table has the artist’s signature. I believe it reads, "Lasabach". The bottom right corner of picture reads, "Copyright E.G. Co., Inc.". Original wood frame painted tan with a natural brown inner trim. Original glass and old string hanger. This piece is in excellent original condition and would make a wonderful addition to a child’s room or baby’s nursery. Circa 1940's.

“Now We Fold Our Hands And Pray” Inspirational Antique Print of Guardian Angels & Family all Praying Together This is a heart-warming antique print from ‘The Guardian Angel Picture Series’, titled, "Now We Fold Our Hands And Pray". This picture is filled with a multitude of wonderful, charming details. Everywhere you look something interesting is going on. This inspirational scene features two adult guardian angels standing in the corner of the room praying along with a mother and her two children. A bible sits on the couch beside the mother and little boy. Two more angelic angels are seen playing with the little boy’s toy clown and tucking in the girl’s doll to bed. It’s very sweet. Above the family, hanging on the wall, are three religious pictures of Mary and Jesus. A second bible sits, displayed on the bookcase. Another great detail that cannot be forgotten is the family cat, seen praying beside the mother’s feet (maybe she’s just licking her paws, but let us pretend atleast that she’s praying). This print is in excellent original condition with bright, lovely colors throughout. The original molded wood frame retains its original cream-colored finish. The original paper backing provides a lot of interesting information about this print, including a blessing that matches the picture and the publisher, "St. Anthony Guild Press; Patterson, New Jersey". “Pals at Prayer” Little Boy & Puppy Pray at Bedtime, Adorable Print / Artist: Kasabach This is an adorable and heavenly print titled, "Pals at Prayer". It features a handsome little boy with his puppy, both saying bedtime prayers. The child’s face is simply angelic. This picture truly captures the divine beauty and innocence of childhood, as well as the uncertain mystery and magic of prayer. The soft, light-toned colors of blues, browns, and cream create a serene and peaceful feeling for the viewer. The print and matting are all one. Towards the bottom left of the picture is the artist’s name, "Kasabach" and in the bottom right is the publisher’s name, "E.G. Co., Inc.". The initials ‘E.G.’ stand for the well-known publisher, ‘Edward Gross Company’. The print and matting are in good original condition, except for a few very light and minor stains around the far edge of the matting and a light brown circular stain near the top right corner of the print. I believe the stain was possibly made from a round sale sticker that must have been left on the glass for many years. Original, decorative, molded wood frame with original white paint. The frame is in excellent original condition, except for some very slight age-appropriate wear to the finish. Original glass and old metal hanger. The original paper backing has some tears, but is mostly intact. Despite the age-appropriate wear mentioned above, this piece remains to be a lovely, enjoyable, and certainly an adorable picture. This would be a wonderful addition to a little boy’s room or child’s nursery. Circa 1940’s.

Small Antique Portrait Print of an Adorably Sweet Baby Girl Praying / Listed Artist: Charlotte Becker This is such an adorably sweet antique print of a young baby girl praying with her hands clasped. She has big, beautiful blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and red puckered-up lips. What a precious child! This picture was originally painted by famous listed artist, Charlotte Becker. Her signature can be found under the child’s hands. In the bottom left corner of print reads, "Copyright B.D. 1935, Made in U.S.A.". This print is in excellent original condition. “Asking a Blessing” Girl Praying w/ Dog & Kittens, Antique Victorian Lithograph Print This is a precious antique Victorian lithograph. It features a sweet little girl with her dog and kitties, "Asking A Blessing", before they eat their meal. The picture has lots of special details and is large and colorful.The outer edge of the lithograph is a fancy gold border that adds another dimension to the piece. At the lower center of print is the title, "Asking A Blessing". In the lower left corner are the numbers "4023". In the lower right hand corner it reads, "Copyright 1905 By James Lee, Chicago, Ill". The picture is in excellent original condition. It is in a very nice, complimentary oak frame with fancy gesso and decorative gold inset. The frame retains a great old original finish and is in excellent condition, except for a very tiny piece of molding of the inset is missing on the top right. Delightful & Inspirational Antique Victorian Print of Sweet Young Girl Kneeling & Praying at her Bedroom Window, Morning Prayer This is a wonderful, inspirational antique Victorian print. The scene features a sweet little girl kneeling down for what appears to be Morning Prayer. Her bedroom is beautifully decorated in beautiful Victorian furniture, linen, and flowers. This print is bright, vibrant, and rich in color. Through the window is a view of a large church and a little Robin bird perched outside, greeting the child. Rays of light shine through the window onto the girl, as a Bible sits beside her. The bottom left hand corner of this print reads, "Copyrighted by Geo Stinson & Co., 1878". The bottom right hand corner reads, "Published by Geo Stinson & Co., Portland, ME.". This print is in excellent original condition, except for a very small discoloration on the little girl’s nightgown and two little dots across from that. On the back of this piece, there are two nice old original boards, but with a small separation in-between. It appears that this small separation slightly exposed the print to natural, age-appropriate wear. However, these small imperfections do not detract from the magnificent beauty of this piece. The frame is original to the print. It is molded wood with original antique grained finish. The finish is rich in color with nice highlights. The frame is in excellent original condition with slight age-appropriate wear. Nice old, original glass, original wood backing, and old wire hanger. Circa 1878.

Lg Special Antique Victorian Photographic Print & Bedtime Prayer Motto 'Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep' Mother w/ 2 Children This is a hard to find, large, antique Victorian bedtime prayer with a compelling photographic print of a lovely mother embracing and praying with her young son and daughter by the fireplace. This is the well-known prayer of, ‘Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep…’. The print is bright and in excellent original condition. In the lower right corner of the print, there is a gold stamp that reads, "Copyright Manz, CHI." with the number ‘42’ in the other corner. The words of this bedtime prayer are in a beautiful, bold, and fancy Old English text. Gold-trim highlights nicely compliment the black text and the two borders framing the picture and blessing. In the lower left corner, under the blessing, it reads, "Coath Creation". The lower right corner reads, "House of Manz, Chicago". This is a large and attractive antique bedtime prayer. The matting is in excellent original condition. The frame is original to the print and blessing/matting. The wood frame has original grained finish and is also in excellent original condition. "French painters of the 19th century were known for their sense of color and enchanting interpretations of youthful forms. In Emile Munier we find the maturity and appreciation of manhood and the sensitivity of the artist combined with the freshness and innocence of childhood.

Born in Paris, Munier spent his life there surrounded by his family – including some of the delightful models whose pleasing images he portrayed in his art. He received instruction in art initially from Abel Lucas at the Gobelins Factory and later from William Adolphe Bouguereau. Bouguereau epitomized academic art in France and was one of the most financially successful of artists. From this master he acquired his sensitivity, style and refine coloring.

Beginning in 1869, the artist exhibited regularly at the annual Paris Salon. In 1882 he was awarded an Honorable Mention.

Serenity Prayer & Jesus Print in Open Book / Artist: W.E. Sallman This is a very interesting and unique Serenity Prayer. This was made from a real book that was opened, glued stationary, and then painted gold. Afterward, a picture of Jesus and the Serenity Prayer were applied to the open book. Gold velvet ribbon adorns it, like a bookmark. At the bottom left hand corner of print of Jesus reads, "Copyright 1935, Messenger Corporation, Auburn, Ind., U.S.A., W.E. Sallman". Slight age-appropriate wear.
