Prayer For the Home Buzza Motto / Print
This is a lovely Buzza house blessing print titled, "Prayer for the Home". The picture at the bottom of the print depicts a dog lying down near a cozy fireplace. The bottom right corner of print reads "Copyright MCMXL" (meaning 1940) "The Buzza Co.". Nice sentiment from the writings of Edgar A. Guest. Original honey colored wood frame. Old glass. The original paper backing is intact with old metal hanger. This piece is in Excellent Original Condition, front and back. Circa 1940.

The Kitchen Prayer Buzza Motto / Print
This is a unique religious, Buzza kitchen motto titled, "The Kitchen Prayer", written by Klara Munkres. The pale green background is complimented by a trellis of delicate flowers. Illustrated underneath the fancy lettering is a cross and below the motto is a colorful fireplace. Fancy original gold painted wood frame and old glass. Replaced brass hanger. This piece is in excellent condition except the paper backing has minor tears. Circa 1920’s.

Antique Art Nouveau Photographic Print of Little Girl Praying in Oval Wood Frame w/ Floral Gesso
This is precious antique photographic print of a sweet little girl praying. The print has nice details throughout with soft, muted blue colors. The title and numbers of this print are mostly covered by the frame at the bottom, but I can make out the words, "No. 969 Abide With …" The child’s willful expression is just darling. This picture is in excellent original condition, except for two tiny specks of color missing on the print. One near the middle right edge and the other at the bottom edge above the words. The original frame is oval wood with applied, delicate gesso flowers and a soft, bronzed luster. The frame and floral gesso are both in excellent original condition. Original glass, paper backing, and wire hanger. Circa 1910.

Lg Special Antique Victorian Photographic Print & Bedtime Prayer Motto 'Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep' Mother w/ 2 Children
This is a hard to find, large, antique Victorian bedtime prayer with a compelling photographic print of a lovely mother embracing and praying with her young son and daughter by the fireplace. This is the well-known prayer of, ‘Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep…’. The print is bright and in excellent original condition. In the lower right corner of the print, there is a gold stamp that reads, "Copyright Manz, CHI." with the number ‘42’ in the other corner. The words of this bedtime prayer are in a beautiful, bold, and fancy Old English text. Gold-trim highlights nicely compliment the black text and the two borders framing the picture and blessing. In the lower left corner, under the blessing, it reads, "Coath Creation". The lower right corner reads, "House of Manz, Chicago". This is a large and attractive antique bedtime prayer. The matting is in excellent original condition. The frame is original to the print and blessing/matting. The wood frame has original grained finish and is also in excellent original condition. Original glass. The nice, original black paper backing is partially torn and missing. Wonderful antique, decorative, gold tasseled cord and wire hanger. Circa 1900.

“Her Prayer” Little Girl Prays to Mary Statue Print / Artist: Lasabach
This is a charming print of a sweet, young little girl in her nightgown, down on her knees, praying to a statue of Mary atop her night table. The child’s eyes are full of lively expression. The side of the night table has the artist’s signature. I believe it reads, "Lasabach". The bottom right corner of picture reads, "Copyright E.G. Co., Inc.". Original wood frame painted tan with a natural brown inner trim. Original glass and old string hanger. This piece is in excellent original condition and would make a wonderful addition to a child’s room or baby’s nursery.

“Now We Fold Our Hands And Pray” Inspirational Antique Print of Guardian Angels & Family all Praying Together
This is a heart-warming antique print from ‘The Guardian Angel Picture Series’, titled, "Now We Fold Our Hands And Pray". This picture is filled with a multitude of wonderful, charming details. Everywhere you look something interesting is going on. This inspirational scene features two adult guardian angels standing in the corner of the room praying along with a mother and her two children. A bible sits on the couch beside the mother and little boy. Two more angelic angels are seen playing with the little boy’s toy clown and tucking in the girl’s doll to bed. It’s very sweet. Above the family, hanging on the wall, are three religious pictures of Mary and Jesus. A second bible sits, displayed on the bookcase. Another great detail that cannot be forgotten is the family cat, seen praying beside the mother’s feet (maybe she’s just licking her paws, but let us pretend, at least, that she’s praying). This print is in excellent original condition with bright, lovely colors throughout. The original molded wood frame retains its original cream-colored finish. The original paper backing provides a lot of interesting information about this print, including a blessing that matches the picture and the publisher, "St. Anthony Guild Press; Patterson, New Jersey". (see photo) Original glass and old brass hanger. This piece would make a wonderful addition to any baby’s nursery or child’s room. Circa 1920’s.

“Pals at Prayer” Little Boy & Puppy Pray at Bedtime, Adorable Print / Artist: Kasabach
This is an adorable and heavenly print titled, "Pals at Prayer". It features a handsome little boy with his puppy, both saying bedtime prayers. The child’s face is simply angelic. This picture truly captures the divine beauty and innocence of childhood, as well as the uncertain mystery and magic of prayer. The soft, light-toned colors of blues, browns, and cream create a serene and peaceful feeling for the viewer. The print and matting are all one. Towards the bottom left of the picture is the artist’s name, "Kasabach" and in the bottom right is the publisher’s name, "E.G. Co., Inc.". The initials ‘E.G.’ stand for the well-known publisher, ‘Edward Gross Company’. The print and matting are in good original condition, except for a few very light and minor stains around the far edge of the matting and a light brown circular stain near the top right corner of the print. I believe the stain was possibly made from a round sale sticker that must have been left on the glass for many years. Original, decorative, molded wood frame with original white paint. The frame is in excellent original condition, except for some very slight age-appropriate wear to the finish. Original glass and old metal hanger. The original paper backing has some tears, but is mostly intact. Despite the age-appropriate wear mentioned above, this piece remains to be a lovely, enjoyable, and certainly an adorable picture. This would be a wonderful addition to a little boy’s room or child’s nursery. Circa 1940’s.

Small Antique Portrait Print of an Adorably Sweet Baby Girl Praying / Listed Artist: Charlotte Becker
This is such an adorably sweet antique print of a young baby girl praying with her hands clasped. She has big, beautiful blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and red puckered-up lips. What a precious child! This picture was originally painted by famous listed artist, Charlotte Becker. Her signature can be found under the child’s hands. In the bottom left corner of print reads, "Copyright B.D. 1935, Made in U.S.A.". This print is in excellent original condition. Original silver-painted molded wood frame. The frame has a nice decorative design and is in excellent original condition with very minor age-appropriate wear to the finish. Original glass, backing, and old metal hanger. Circa 1935.
