This is a very special, hard to find Roseville Donatello Vase, circa 1915. This impressive, 12" high pedestal vase is very substantial and beautifully decorated. It has deep vertical fluting in ivory and green on either side of a brown band with embossed ivory cherubs and trees. It is in excellent original condition except for two very fine hairlines on the inside. Perhaps they are original to the making of this piece because you cannot feel them at all. Crazing throughout. One very tiny flake in the fluting. Bottom of vase has original ink stamp – "Rv" (the letter v is inside of the R) with the center circle impressed and the numbers "3-12". This is a very inspirational piece of antique Roseville pottery. Circa 1915. Height – 12" Diameter – 7" |
