| This is a very elaborate and unique mother motto print titled, "The Love Gift" by famous author Enid Eastland. This piece has very special artwork and much detail. The background has a marbleized effect. The lettering is fancy. Special copper and gold highlights embellish this piece. The white highlights are hand-colored. The scene on the left is of a young lady in a Victorian dress picking flowers in her garden with a cottage in the background. The scene on the right is connected to the scene on the left, showing an inviting nature scene with a bird’s house. The frame is very complimentary to this piece. It’s the original wood frame and it has a fancy textured gold finish and a wonderful old patina. Old original glass. The paper backing is in excellent condition with the metal hanger and an optional paper / cardboard stand that has the original stamped label reading, "Stanright Easel, Pat. Applied For The Cin. Art Pub. Co." This very special piece is in excellent original condition. |
