| This is a large and very special large antique Victorian print with a beautiful guardian angel looking down upon a sleeping baby boy. The boy’s older sister is also watching over him as she knits. The colors are lovely and the details are very interesting. Their faces are expressive and loving. The Victorian setting is quaint and the print is quite charming. It evokes a peaceful and serene feeling. The wood frame is massive and has lovely fancy gesso designs. It retains the old, gold paint with age-appropriate wear. This piece has old, original wavy glass and wire hanger. Paper backing is missing. This is a large and wonderful Victorian guardian angel print in excellent original condition. |
