This is an outstanding and rare antique Victorian punch paper motto sampler titled, "There Is No Place Like Home". It is in excellent original condition with original wood frame that retains its original finish with a wonderful patina - dark cherry color. The background is in excellent condition. The stitchery is elaborate and very enchanting. The words are done in fancy lettering with gold glittery threads that highlight the words. The home is very fancy, complete with a stone walk. The text is adorned with fancy curlicue designs. The extraordinary details include delicate dried ferns and rosebud decorations.
