This is a beautiful antique inspirational religious print. This hard to find scene features The Blessed Virgin Mary being greeted by the Archangel Gabriel. A dove shines down on both of them. Next to Mary’s feet sits a vase of white lilies. In this famous scene, Gabriel visits Mary to announce to her that she will be a mother by conceiving her son, Jesus, through the Holy Spirit. Gabriel has been called "The Angel of Life", and is said to appear to people when they are on the brink of a new beginning, especially a conception or birth. Gabriel is known to be the bearer of Good News! The artists name is signed in the bottom left corner of print, "Martin Feuerstein".
