This is a hard to find antique print featuring several nuns walking in a line with their bibles open, dressed in their Habits. In the foreground is a very charming cupid sitting atop a large pedestal. His bow and arrow are on the ground near him. The lovely old church is on the hill in the background. The scene is very interesting and evokes a peaceful feeling. It is signed in the lower left corner, "Chas D. Ward, copyright 1910". The wood frame is original to the print. It retains the original glass and old wire hanger. Missing paper backing. This piece is in excellent original condition and would certainly make a great gift for the Nun in your life! Circa 1910.
