| This is a very rare, special, and decorative, Victorian print titled, "The Holy Family of Nazareth". There are 10 small scenes around the central picture featuring Jesus in his youth. The colors are bright and vibrant throughout the entire piece. Every scene is inspiring and compelling. Each scene is framed by a decorative and ornate, gold matting. There are 2 prayers on the lower portion of the print. The bottom of the print reads, "The Holy Family of Nazareth, The Decree of His Holiness, Leo X111. June 20th 1892". There is an artist’s signature under the central picture of the Holy Family that reads, "Leiber". The Victorian frame is original and very complimentary to the piece. It is decorated with a graining effect. Original wavy glass and wire hanger. The paper backing is missing. This piece is in excellent original condition. |
