Circa: 1921 Condition: Excellent Original Condition Size: Height – 14 ľ” Width – 8 ľ” Manufacturer: Morris & Bendien, N.Y. This is a refreshingly unique motto print titled, "The Song of the Lark". The picture depicts a young lady (farm girl) standing in a field, greeting the day with the melody of a Lark singing to her, I assume. It’s certainly a thought-provoking piece.

| Nice original matting frames the picture and motto. The bottom of the picture and motto both read, "Copyright 1921 – Morris & Bendien, N.Y.". Original, decorative, gold-painted wood frame with thin inner beaded design. Original glass and old string hanger. This piece is in excellent original condition, except for one very small, stubborn speck of dust under the glass, on the motto. I assure you it’s not a stain on the print, nor would it be difficult to remove it or shift it to the side, unseen. |
