This is a very special and hard to find patriotic motto print titled, "His Flag". The picture proudly displays the colors- red, white and blue. Under the motto is the poets signature and copyright date, "Dorothy De Jagers, c. 1918". Fancy lettering.

| The original gold wood frame is very complimentary to the picture with its ornate patriotic gesso shield and a star in each corner. Old original glass, original paper backing, and old wire hanger. This piece is in excellent original condition, except for a very small smudge on the motto and the frame has a very small piece of molding missing in the bottom left hand corner. Despite these minuscule flaws, this is a wonderful antique patriotic piece of art that you just don’t see every day. |
