This is a large and lovely antique Victorian porcelain transferware picture plate. It features an adorable cupid and several beautiful ladies in an enchanting scene. This plate is very decorative and expresses joy and beauty. The ladies have wonderfully detailed faces and the cupid’s face is very expressive. The scene is very appealing and quite serene. Bright, vibrant colors throughout. Gold rim edge. The bottom of plate is marked with a symbol and reads, "Victoria, Carlsbad, Austria". Optional and original mesh wire hanger. This piece is in excellent original condition and ready to hang on the wall or display on a plate stand. Circa 1890’s.
