| This is a hard to find antique print of Jesus as a Shepard with his sheep. This piece was originally painted by famous artist, Atkinson Fox and is signed at the bottom left of this print. The landscape is picturesque. The clouds in the clear blue sky create a serene and peaceful feeling as Jesus looks down at the ruined city, possibly Jerusalem. This tranquil scene displays vibrant, earth-tone colors of green, white, and blue. Original, decorative, gold-painted wood frame with a dark green ribbed middle trim. Original glass and old wire hanger. The original paper backing is mostly intact, but partly missing. Overall, this piece is in excellent original condition. Circa 1920’s. |
