This is a charming and unique motto and print. The motto is titled, "Your Baby Girl". The print features a sweet, innocent looking little girl peacefully sleeping with her bottle.

| The artist’s name who originally did this picture is signed next to the bottle, "Charlotte Becker". Becker is a famous listed artist known for her captivating child illustrations. The sentiment is just precious. The letters of this motto, the delicate pink and white flowers, and the thin strip of white border around the picture are all applied by hand. The pink background is reverse-painted on glass. The print of the baby girl is in excellent original condition. This floral matting/motto on the outer glass is also in excellent original condition, but with very minimal age-appropriate wear to the applied letters. (see photo) The original, cream-color painted molded wood frame is decorative and very complimentary to this piece. The frame is also in excellent original condition. Original paper backing and glass. New metal hanger. Circa 1940’s. |
