This is a very special and hard to find antique print. The scene depicts a Guardian Angel looking after and protecting a precious little baby in a gorgeous and fancifully decorated bassinette. The light, warm shades of purple and blue create a peaceful and serene feeling. This comforting picture is full of inspiration and heavenly appeal. The little baby has such a sweet, angelic expression. Another interesting detail is the background sky. It looks as though they’re up in the clouds. This print is in excellent original condition. The original blue-painted molded wood frame is also in excellent original condition and is very complimentary to the print. Original glass and old backing. New metal hanger. Circa 1920’s. |
