| This wonderful Victorian picture has what appears to be a matting, but is really all part of the print, uniquely intertwined. There is a bluebird perched in a dogwood tree. In the left hand lower corner it reads, "Chicago Tribune Art Supplement, April 1, 1894". In the right hand corner reads, "Knapp Co. Lith." This is a very captivating Victorian print. This original and decoratively carved wood frame has a white wash finish with gold highlights. Very slight age-appropriate wear. This very special print has its old original glass, wood back, and wire hanger. This print is in excellent original condition except for a very tiny rip in the lower bottom right corner. This is a really charming piece of Victorian art. Circa 1894. |
