This is a lovely print featuring a romantic couple. They are sitting outside under a tree. The man is playing the violin. They are dressed in lovely Victorian clothing. The print is enhanced with a convex glass that has been reverse-painted with decorative flowers and such. The picture is framed by a shapely gold banding. The original frame is decorative molded wood with a cream color and gold wash finish. Original paper backing, original convex glass, and old metal hanger. This piece is in excellent original condition. Circa 1940’s. |
