| This is a very nice pair of antique Victorian needlepoint and petit-point stitchery of two adorable little girls in Victorian attire holding their pets, a cute puppy dog and a kitten. The children and the pets have wonderful expressive and captivating faces. The needlepoint and petit-point work is very well done with bright, beautiful colors. The matching, original wood frames are fancy with decorative gesso framing the edge and the centers. They are original black with gold highlights. These pieces are both in excellent original condition with old, original glass and wire hanger. Circa 1900. |
