This is a beautiful large vintage statue made of ceramic pottery. The statue depicts Mary with holding Baby Jesus in her arms. The figure has very nice details throughout and a wonderful old original gold finish that has a beautiful luster. This piece is heavy and very substantial. Stamped into the back is the manufacturer name and location, "Nesi Art Co. Canada". The statue is in excellent original condition, except for a small chip in the back which has been touched up with gold paint a long time ago. There is felt under the pedestal base. Circa 1940’s.
