| This is a large, enchanting Marygold / Tsanga antique art nouveau print. The romantic couple are flirtatious and starry-eyed. The background is luxurious and decorated with a lush flowery nighttime landscape. The colors are bright and vivid with wonderful dazzling details throughout. The lush greenery and delicate flowers add an exotic romantic feeling and create a lavish backdrop for the romantic night scene. The lower right corner is the famous artist’s signature, "Tsanga". This was Marygold’s pseudonym. The print is in excellent original condition. The molded wood frame is original to the piece and is also in excellent original condition. The frame retains the original black finish with thin gold highlights. Old glass, backing, and wire hanger. Circa 1920’s. |
