Size: Frame Measurements: Height - 13 ¼” Width - 8 ¼”
This is an endearing antique print of young Virgin Mary praying. Her eyes are closed and her hands are clasped. White lilies surround her on each side. This picture is called ‘Star of the Morning’ (Stella Matutina) with a star in the top right corner of the print. The artist of this picture is Mother M. Nealis, R.S.C.J. This picture has beautiful soft-tone colors and reflects the sweet innocence of childhood. This picture is a perfect example of being ‘InSpirit’. Bottom right corner of print reads, "M.M.N., R.S.C.J.; Sault, 1935". Original molded wood frame with original gold finish. Original glass, paper backing, and old wire hanger. The print is in excellent original condition, except for a slight light discoloration on the left side above Mary’s head.
