This is a small, charming antique portrait print of Young Jesus. This print is titled at the bottom, "Christ at Twelve", along with the famous artist's name, "H. Hofmann" in parentheses next to the title. This picture is a detail from the original full-size painting titled, 'Christ in the Temple with the Doctors'. There’s a wonderful story behind this scene as well. (read below) This delightful print portrays the Young Jesus as a sweet and very handsome boy. Nice original silver-painted molded wood frame. The print and frame are both in excellent original condition. Original glass, original metal hanger. Circa 1920’s.
