This is a large antique patriotic, United States flag from World War 2. I believe it was used to welcome home the troops from war. It’s made of a linen fabric with the colors - red, white, and blue. The flag reads, "Welcome Home" with a picture in the center of a large Eagle holding the American flag. The flag hangs by 2 original grommets, 1 at each top corner. This flag has very light wear and the colors are still quite vibrant and defined. This flag is in excellent original condition, except for a couple very light stains towards the bottom half of the flag. This is a wonderful and historical example of Patriotic inspiration. Circa 1940’s.
