This is a sweet, endearing, and shapely vintage bisque figurine of Madonna. This lovely figurine is hand-painted with gold highlights. The details are finely done with delicately beautifully applied flowers at the bottom. Madonna’s face and position of her arms convey a special inspirational feeling and emotion to the viewer. The bottom of figurine is stamped with the manufacturer, "Lefton China; Hand-Painted; Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.", the titled, "Madonna", and the original item number of this piece, "KW1463". This piece is heavy, substantial, and in excellent original condition. Circa 1950’s.
