This is a very nice vintage motto print for Dad titled, "A Wish For Father". The words to the poem are sweet and easily relatable. Under the fancy lettering in the bottom left corner of the print is the publisher’s name, "Pru-Lesco, Prov. RI". The scene above features a beautiful adult father dog sitting regally as he enjoys the company of his playful pup. This print is in excellent original condition. Thin silver metal frame. The frame is also in excellent original condition. Original glass, backing, and string hanger. The original cardboard backing has a hand-written date on it, probably dated by the original gift-giver, "June 15, 1941". Circa 1940’s. |
