Pictorial Stained-Wood Tray
Pictorial Stained-Wood Tray, 1930's era. Features a delicate, detailed pen and ink and watercolor or gouache rendering of a European street scene, protected by glass. The carved (slightly scuffed) frame and handles are reminiscent of tramp art. There are TWO signatures: "S. Arold" and "T. Schell." A warm aged patina and unique perspective drawing make this a truly unique piece! Measures 9.75" in diameter by 2" high; weight=12.5 oz. before S&H. [185-192]
