V-07-DD
Vintage Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon A unique & beautiful sterling silver souvenir spoon, probably from the early 20th century, reticulated with ST. JOHNS in the handle.

The spoon measures 5 5/8" long. In addition to the reticulated: ST. JOHNS, the end of the spoon has what appears to be 2 stags on their hind legs on each side of a shield. Below this, is MICHIGAN. There appears to be very tiny writing above the shield & on the shield, but we cannot decipher it.

The spoon has 3 hallmarks on the back -- we can only make out an ornate M as the center of the 3 marks. It is then marked STERLING.

The spoon has a couple of slight dings in the bowl of the spoon which could be removed with a little work.

It's a lovely souvenir spoon or for the collector of quality items from Michigan. Thank you for stopping by The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:V-07-DD)

RR-13
Antique George VI-Style Sterling & Cobalt Blue Master Salts & Spoons This pair of fantastic master salts in Anston sterling silver with cobalt blue glass inserts come with their original sterling spoons.

The pair are marked: ANSTON Sterling 415, & their little reticulated spoons are also marked STERLING. It has been thrilling I have been most appreciative of owning this beautiful set.

The sterling bowls are mint with the exception of two very tiny dents that do not show in the photographs. They measure a little over 2 1/2" in diameter & are 1 1/2" high. Any unusual coloring is reflected from the roof or the photographer.

They are in the George VI style with a lion's head & paws for the feet. They would go well with the silver roll top butter I offer in my shop.

The cobalt inserts are in mint condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. They are 1" high & 2 1/4" in diameter.

The tiny spoons are also mint with lovely reticulated handles marked: STERLING on the back of the handles. These tiny items are seldom found with their original pieces.

For a touch of elegance as well as beauty, these salts are for the discerning person. They also make wonderful display pieces in your cabinet. Thank you for shopping at The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:RR-13)
