C-19
Napoleon Bust Bronze Toned Metal Lamp - Very Nice - c. 1920 - 30 A really great lamp in the form of a bust of Napoleon in a bronze toned metal & in very good condition.

The lamp measures 13 1/4" tall to the top of the bulb socket. It's base is 3 1/2" by 3 1/4" & Napoleon measures 5 1/2" across his shoulders. There are no dents, scratches or cracks.

The lamp dates no later than c. 1920 - 1930's. It appears to have been re-wired c. 1950's because of the type of cord & plug used. The base is covered with worn brown felt. It works well & we decided we would not re-wire with 1920's type wiring.

Napoleon is in full military dress regalia with epaulets & medals as he is often presented in paintings. This is a wonderful piece for the Napoleon collector & very rare. Thank you for stopping by The Treasure Chest.(Item ID:C-19)

FF-010
Vintage Rare St. Clair 1950-60 Paperweight Lamp This is a fabulous c.1950-60 paperweight lamp by one of two mid-west glass artists. As collectors know, these lamps are rare & a joy to own. My photos do no do it justice.

The lamp measures 28 5/8" tall to the top of the clear crystal finial. The predominant colors are yellow lilies with pale green leaves/greenery.

This was sold to me at an estate sale as St. Clair & I saw a lamp in plain white lilies just like this recently & the person said it was St. Clair. I referenced my book: American Glass Paperweights & Their Makers, revised edition, pages 248 & 249. These are very similar. I have owned two sets of St. Clair lamps over the years & this lamp has more finishing touches than those. It is a beauty! The lamp has it's original wiring in good condition with a 3-way light switch.

The crystal base & two crystal additions are cut & polished. The base measures 5 1/4" square.

The lamp is in mint condition, with no chips, scratches or cracks. It would make an excellent addition to any home & glass collection.

There is no shade, but on the previous paperweight lamps I owned I bought shades & added some touches to personalize the shades to the lamps. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:FF-010)

This has been in my collection for over 40 years & I believe it dates c. 1920's.

The lamp measures 10 3/4" tall to the top of the lamp socket. The base is approximately 5" in width & 4" across. The porcelain figure man is 5 1/2" tall.

This makes an excellent boudoir lamp or for use as an accent & display piece. Thank you for shopping at The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:X-007)

There are cut geometrical secondary lines in addition to the lovely cut floral designs in the centers of the amber medallions. The lines are very graceful.

The shade is in excellent condition & there are no chips or scratches in the crystal part. The electrical is newly updated. Many companies have made this type of crystal items from the turn-of-the-century & much later.

L-14
Vintage Aladdin Oil Lamp - Cathedral Pattern - c. 1938 A near antique Aladdin oil lamp in the Cathedral Pattern, for your review.

This pattern dates c. 1934. It has a Model 23 burner with gallery, wick raiser, flame spreader & LOX-ON Aladdin chimney which is marked: ALADDIN XX HEAT-RESISTANT BRITISH MADE.

The font & base are one piece & in excellent used condition. The wick raiser works perfectly & the burner has a brand new wick. The lamp is in excellent condition, no cracks, no chips, or damage of any kind.

Even the chimney is perfect though it is an old one, with straw marks from manufacture. The lamp has it's font lid, which is often missing in lamps of this make.

The lamp would be a beautiful addition to a collection of Aladdin or other oil lamps. In addition, it would make an excellent functional source of light in a cabin or as a backup to electric lights. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.

QQ-010
Antique Opaque Detailed Pattern Glass Oil Lamp & Chimney - c-1900 Words cannot described this gorgeous Patterned oil lamp which dates c. 1900. The font glass, with it's ornate pattern & lovely color, is very similar to the famous C. R. Monroe Glass Co. items.

The lamp measure 9" from base to top of it's Queen Anne burner; 7" in diameter at the base; with an acid etched designed chimney of 10" tall; & an overall height of 16 3/4".

The lamp has no wick, but the Queen Anne burner works perfectly. The burner has QUEEN ANNE in raised letters & the burner wheel knob has Scovill Mfg. Co. Made In U.S.A.

The font glass appears to be a very pale custard & is beautifully patterned with raised, ornate flourishes, leaf-like ribs, & two transfer decorations of a fisherman on a lake with rural farm buildings in the background.

The lamp is in almost mint condition & has no chips, cracks or scratches. It is truly beautiful & a wonderful piece to add to an oil lamp collection or as a decorator item in your favorite room. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.

Click for more detail...
P-7
Antique Figural Stem 19th Century Oil Lamp - Girl - Mouse - Cat This intriguing figural bronze stem on marble base oil lamp is shown in Thuro Book II on page 54.

The exception is the font. It is illustrated in the composite section which dates c.1860-1880. There is speculation that some of the glass fonts were imported. This font has lovely cut flowers & leaves as a design.

The figure is that of an impish, very properly dressed, young girl holding a mouse in one hand, seemingly teasing a cat she holds by the tail with her other hand. Cat lovers take notice.

This lamp has the desirable Queen Anne burner & appropriate chimney, & base w/burner is 13" tall but measures 22" w/the chimney.

This is a real conversation piece for the collector or person needing a fully functional oil lamp. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
