FF-05

Vintage Opaline Meadow Lark Transfer 3 1/2 This is an unusual & vintage paperweight that has been part of my collection for many years. I failed to jot down the maker of the paperweight when I entered it in my log.

This weight is in mint condition & in my collection for many years. It measures 3 1/2" across & about 2 1/4" high. It has a fiery opalescence.

The transfer is that of two meadow larks perched on flowering branches. The opalescent quality makes it difficult to photograph to show it's true beauty.

The weight is beautifully polished & finished with a polished pontil on the base. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:FF-05)

It has lovely maroon swirls edged in yellow. The piece is signed: Clements '85, & is by local glass artist Steve Clements.

This is a wonderful magnum weight & would make a wonderful gift or addition to a quality paperweight collection. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:M-01)

AA-24

Vintage St. Louis France Piedouche Paperweight - 1977 This beautiful, St. Louis France piedouche paperweight has the 1977 date cane in the bottom of the pedestal. I purchased it new & it has been a cabinet piece.

The original Crystal St. Louis France gold label on the top side. Needless to say, it is in mint condition with no chips or scratches. These were produced in limited editions of 250.

The top of the weight is crowned by a "Cliche Rose" with bright ribbons of pink, blue & white forming a swirl of color around the large controlled bubble which forms the center of the weight.

It is a large, eye-catching weight measuring 5inches from base to top & 4 1/2 inches in diameter. The paper label on the base is my inventory sticker from 1977 when I purchased it.

Whether you're a glass lover or paperweight collector, this is a fantastic item to add to your collection. Thank you for shopping The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:AA-24) Add to Shopping Bag

LL-01

Murano Glass Magnum Paperweight - Swimming Fish - Toso This is a great, realistic, swimming fish paperweight or sculpture from the masters of glass artistry in Murano Italy.

This large weight is a true magnum, measuring 4 1/2" in diameter & 4 1/2" tall. The clear glass is a slight aquamarine to resemble the ocean, with sea grass & two brightly colored fish with bubbles floating around them.

The fish are brightly colored with white mezza filigrana fins & tails. The fading label on the base is one used by Fratelli Toso.

This is a really striking & unique paperweight. Thank you for stopping by The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:LL-01)

K-17

Vintage Pale Pink Faceted Glass Magnum Paperweight A lovely pink faceted Italian Glass paperweight with butterflies flitting over a silver metallic back ground, for your review.

The paperweight measures 4 3/8" tall & 4" across at it broadest point. The weight has 3 tiers of 8 well-polished facets.

There is no signature or identifying label. Quality & glitter appear to be Murano.

My labeling as Murano is based on the lovely silver metallic domed ground. The silver takes on a lovely pale pink metallic shade because of the pink glass surrounding it.

The base shows normal wear for a vintage weight. It is classified as a "magnum" weight as it is over 3 1/2" in diameter.

It is a strikingly different weight. Thank you for shopping at The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:K-17)

MM-11

St. Louis King Tut Paper Weight - 1975 - St. Louis & Box This is one of the most strikingly beautiful paperweights I have seen or owned. As an added bonus, it comes with it's original box & certificate.

It has the St. Louis date cane of 1975 & was issued as a commemorative edition of the boy king, Tutankhamun, that was much in the news as he is now.

There were only 150 of this particular color made with a 24 carat gold medal head of King Tut on an orange background that sets the weight on fire. It is much superior to those issued at the same time in an opaque turquoise ground.

It comes in it's original box & with it's original certificate of authenticity. The two numbered labels on the base are inventory stickers. This item is #38 of 150 made.

This St. Louis gold inclusion of King Tut has been encircled by delicate red & blue millefiori garland on an orange ground. The "boy king" is viewed through one large top & six side facets.

This is a "must have" for the sophisticated collector. My photos do not do it justice. Thank you for shopping at The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:MM-11)

I-08

Vintage Murano Glass Faceted Spaced Millefiori Paperweight A lovely vintage Murano faceted glass paperweight, with spaced millefiori canes on a metallic gold base, for your review.

The paperweight is very well made. The canes are red with white & aqua centers. There is a center yellow, white & aqua center cane that sometimes appears to be 2 or 4 canes because of the faceting, depending on your view point. It also appears slightly green in photos, but is truly yellow.

The base is gold metallic particles suspended in clear. The entire paperweight is faceted in 1/2" squares with corners cut for an 8 sided facet. The base is polished. There are no cracks, scratches, or chips.

The weight is approximately 2 1/2" in diameter & 2 1/2" tall. It is perfect in all aspects with only a dimple in the polished base rim which was made in the fabrication of the weight.

Another great addition to any paperweight collection. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
