B-25
Antique Czech Glass Jack-In-The-Pulpit Vase - Beautiful! This very lovely & elegant Czech glass "tulip" form vase has "Czechoslovakia" acid etched on the bottom. The vase dates according to it's mark of just "Czechoslovakia" c. pre-1920 rather than later when they had to add: "Made In....". I have two of these beautiful vases as I purchased them as a pair from the original owner. If you would like the pair, it would save on shipping costs & I would also give a 10% discount on the pair.

It is a lovely pale pink, beautifully finished, & higher in quality than most Czech vases of a later time. It measures 6 1/2" tall & 4 1/4" diameter at the base. We welcome your inquiries. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. Shipping and insurance are determined after checkout. (Item ID:B-25)

CC-20
Pink Glass Hand Vase - 6 1/2 This very lovely pink "hand vase" measures 6 1/2" tall & is extremely well-made & detailed. I have no company of attribution.

The vase strongly resembles a Victorian hand vase illustrated in one of the books by Ruth Webb Lee but I believe this may be a more recent copy.

The hand is holding what appears to be a sheaf of wheat or decorative leaves. There are no chips or cracks & only minor base wear. There are no company logos or labels.

SS-012
Bohemian Golden Amber Cut-Crystal Footed Ewer A beautiful, cut crystal footed ewer, c. 1930's, in a unique shape, with delicate cut designs, for your appreciation & inspection.

This is not your usual amber as it is a golden amber. The handle & foot are clear crystal. Even the base of the foot is polished & shows only normal wear for an item of this type. It is in mint condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.

The cut body pattern show flowing variations in the flower stems & leaves. The flower stems flow with each holding three lovely cut flowers each -- a total of 24 flowers on the two sides. My photos just cannot capture them as part of the cutting fades in the light or combines with the pattern on the opposite side.

The ewer measures 6 1/2" at it's tallest point & the round body is 5" in diameter. I haven't been this enthralled with a piece in some time -- it is breathtaking. Thank you for stopping by The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:SS-012)

II-15
Antique Cut Crystal Hand Painted Gold Swags Cruet This is a beautiful cut crystal cruet with a good deal of applied gold trim, swags & bows. It has hand cut applications on the neck & a polished base.

I believe this dates no later than the 1920's. The cruet is in mint condition, with no chips, scratches or cracks. There is minor base wear as to be expected on an item of this age.

I purchased this from the estate of a lady who along with another piece & was told they were purchased by the mother on a trip through what was then Bohemia. The last piece I had with this type of swag & bows was a Moser piece.Even the lower gold ring around the polished base is in good condition. The 6-pointed star on the top of the cut crystal stopper is in excellent condition also. The gold on the handle is still sharp as is all the rest of the applied gold decorations.

When I purchased the items they appeared to have been on a shelf for many years, collecting our famous Arizona dust. It preserved the precious gold applications, however.

Thank you for shopping at The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:II-15)

Click for more detail...
II-18
Antique Spatter Glass Flower Arranger Vase - Signed This is a beautiful antique Bohemian spatter glass flower arranger vase.

The vase measure 4 3/4" tall with the collar in place is approximately 4 1/2" across. The inside is clear glass & the outer casing is a brightly colored spatter glass with reds, cobalt blues, yellows, oranges, greens, & whites with clear showing through.

The brass collar is removable so the vase can be cleaned after use; however, there is no indication that this vase has been used for anything but as a cabinet piece.

It has an acid etched signature on the bottom in 2 separate lines: "CZE...& SLO..", which would indicate it predates 1918 when the two areas were joined & a hyphen was used.

There are no chips, scratches or cracks. There is minimal wear on the base. It is in excellent condition & makes an excellent cabinet piece or as a focal point for conversation. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
