Murano Gold Cased Glass Pipe - c. 1950 This great Murano glass whimsy pipe has gold metallic particle-filled glass encased in clear glass, & has a black pipe stem, & is a wonderful example of expert glass artistry.

This unique item is 8 inches long with 3 1/2 inches in diameter bowl. In early glass making jargon it would be called a whimsy, but this piece is an excellent example of the famous Murano gold metallic work cased with clear.

Vinini Ten Gallon Murano Glass Hat c. 1950 This is a life-size, fantastic Murano glass hat is by Vinini, c. 1950.

The hat a full-sized, clear glass, pinched crown ten gallon hat blown in one piece from the crown. The polished pontil is on top of the hat, & the entire item was blown in one piece from the crown. It has an applied glass hat band.

It measures approximately 7 inches tall by 16 inches wide at brim.

The book: Circa Fifties Glass from Europe & America. by Pina, features this item on page 74, & is quoted by Skinner's Auction House at $600 to $800 in value.

This item is an excellent conversation piece by a world-renown artist & is an excellent decorative touch for you home or office.

The finish on the glass is consistent with the excellent craftsmanship of Vinini.

Murano Glass Miniature Sommerso Vase - c.1950 This miniature sommerso teardrop vase has made a fantastic cabinet piece for me. It measures 6 inches tall & is a bright fluorescent yellow centered cased in clear.

The vase dates from c.1950 & is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. Base wear is minimal. It is similar to the vase shown in: Fifties Glass by Pina, on page 71.

Fabulous Murano Glass Gold Beaded 14 This is really a fabulous piece, a Murano gold beaded charger that as one customer told me: "It really knocks your socks off!!" My photos just do not do justice to this piece & I've never seen anything like it. It weighs 4 pounds & is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. I believe the base is 22 carat gold.

The bottom shows the beading which is covered by gold & clear crystal, while the top is a heavy layer of clear crystal for a smooth finish. Everything is perfect. Any variation in coloring in my photos are caused by the play in light. There are no labels or signatures.

Murano Glass Basket c. 1950 This is a beautiful Murano glass basket with the handle fused in the center by a gold metallic-infused clear glass ball. The basket is a cranberry color with a slight blue cast.

The glass finish has the perfection achieved by only the best Murano glass artists. It is similar to an illustration in Vi & Ted Lagerberg's "Collectible Glass - Book II" only with more detailing in the basket.

Vintage Art Glass Bowl - Signed This is a beautiful signed art glass bowl which bears all the lines of 1970's Murano glass.

The bowl measures 5 1/2" tall & is 6 5/8" in diameter. It is signed on the bottom: GH95 & was sold to me as Murano.

It has magenta swirling stripes set in a lovely pink back ground. There is a cranberry strip around the rim of the bowl. The base is a clear crystal approximately 2" in diameter & 3/8" thick.

There are no chips, cracks or scratches. There is a pin head spot in the inside bottom of there bowl where a bubble opened.

Murano Art Glass Bullicante 12 1/2 in.Vase c. 1950 This elegant Murano Glass bullicante orange vase of clear glass is decorated internally with bright orange in a loose basket weave & regular air bubbles. It has a different look at every angle.

The vase is a real beauty at 12 1/4 inches tall & dates c. 1950. It is in excellent condition and has a smooth, polished bottom along with all the lovely finishing touches expected of the excellent Murano glass artists

Venetian Deep Ruby Glass 8 1/8 A beautiful, antique, deep ruby red Venetian trumpet vase with applied leaves & flowers, entwined around the vase, with gold metallic particles -- a really fabulous item for your review.

The vase measures approximately 8 1/8 inches tall, 4 1/8 inches in diameter at the top, & has a 3 1/4 inch base. A clear glass vine is twined around the vase from the base to just under the upper lip, & there are 2 red & 3 white applied flowers.

The vase is in wonderful condition considering it's age & the delicate applied glass vine. Gold metallic particles are heavily sprinkled on the outside layer of the vase. I cannot not do justice in describing this fantastic piece.

Vintage Pink & Alabaster Murano Glass Covered Bowl This is a beautiful vintage pink Murano glass covered bowl with a curled alabaster white finial. It is strongly reminiscent of Steuben with it subtle design & coloring.

The bowl measures approximately 6 3/4 inches in diameter at it's widest point. With the lid in place, it is 6 1/2 inches high to the top of the finial. We believe this label dates after 1970. We had a Murano duck of this same color.

The piece is in very good condition with the exception of a rough area near the rim of the bowl -- it does not show up in the photos.

Vintage Murano Glass Pheasant The styling & detailing of this beautiful Murano glass pheasant is wonderful.

From it's clear, gold flecked base, to it's beak & up to the tip of it's tail, the pheasant ranges from green to gold to soft deep rose, & then is cased in clear. The detailing indicates that it pre-dates 1950.

The heavy metallic inclusions & finished details give the realistic impression of true feathers. It measures almost 11 inches tall at the top of it's tail feathers, & 8 inches long from tail to beak.
