O-23
Mt. Washington Antique Tri-Corner Burmese Glass Bowl A really beautiful Mt. Washington tri-corner Burmese bowl, shading from yellow to salmon pink @ top.

Many pieces of this glass do not achieve the range of variation of color that this bowl does. This required two firings. As with most of this glass, it was free blown & has a polished pontil on bottom.

The process for this type of glass was developed by Mt. Washington in 1885. Each side measures 3 1/4" and bowl is 2 1/4' tall.

This piece is an unusual shape & with very good color gradation, & is in excellent condition. The tri-corner shape is also rare.

We offer a 3-month lay-away plan for items of this quality. Thank you for shopping The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:O-23)

C-4
Antique Glass Floriform Opaline Cranberry-To Mahogany Vase This magnificent jack-in-the-pulpit vase is very similar to two vases pictured in Ruth Webb Lee's Victorian Glass Handbook, Plate #225, of vases popular during the 1870's & 1880's.

This has a fancier crimp that those pictured & is a fantastic cabinet piece. It measures 9" tall & is about 7 1/2" at it's widest. I believe it is Sandwich Glass Co. in origin as they made opaline glass of this type.

This is my favorite tulip-type vase but I can't keep them all at my age. The red goes from bright cranberry red to a deep burgundy at the edges.

It is crystal & has a good ring to it. The vase has a polished pontil, attesting to it's quality.

It is in excellent condition & there are no chips, cracks or scratches. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. Shipping and insurance are determined after checkout. (Item ID:C-4)

Antiques : Antique Pressed Daisy & Button Amberina Glass Bowl - C.1880$245USDLarger Views This eye-catching antique press glass amberina bowl in the daisy & button pattern was developed c. 1880 by Hobbs & Brockunier & Co. of Wheeling, W. Antique Paneled Daisy & Button Pattern Glass Berry Bowls - Set of 5 A beautiful set of Daisy & Button with Panel pattern glass berry bowls, 5 in number, in very good condition.

The somewhat orange highlights are reflected light, not in the beautiful pattern glass itself.

GG-06
Jefferson Glass Opalescent Shell & Dots Bowl This beautiful Shell & Dots opalescent pattern glass bowl was made by Jefferson Glass in 1905.

It is a lovely lilac with opalescent ruffled edges. The bowl sits on a square, footed base with bubble-like dots on the base, which differentiates the pattern from the Jefferson pattern "Beaded Fan".

It is in mint condition with only normal wear on the bottom of the square base. It is listed as coming in white, green & blue colors so I believe that this has "purpled" over the years as I've had other nice pieces do. It has not been exposed to other than normal day time indoor light.

It measures 8 1/2" across & 3 3/4" high. It's a read beauty in mint condition. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:GG-06)

Click for more detail...
BB-13
Pressed Glass Star In Bulls Eye Plate - 19th Century This is beautiful, heavy pressed glass 8 1/4" plate dating c. 1880. I lost the pattern name but it has a star within a circle & zipper repeated around the plate with the large star or sunburst in the center. I believe the pattern is "star in bulls eye".

The plate is heavy & made to resemble the heavy cut crystal so popular at that time. It is in very good shape with no chips or cracks & only normal wear expected in an item of this age.

This make an excellent addition to a pattern glass collection. Thank you for visiting The Treasure Chest.
