A very ornate, vintage Oriental match box safe or holder in floral patterned brass & hand carved stone top.
The holder is oriental in origin & is signed on the bottom with letters I cannot decipher in it's entirety. The original match box was deteriorated & fell apart. It had oriental scenes on 3 sides & "Ohio Blue Tip Matches" on the 4th side.
There is some patination from age in the corners, but it is a very lovely piece for coffee table or display cabinet.
