A beautiful, quality art glass Swedish ice blue crystal etched vase, signed "Strombergshyttan B882 C223".
The vase measures 3 1/2" tall, 3" wide & 2 7/8" deep. It is a beautiful ice blue, crystal clear, with a deeply engraved sail boat on the high seas, with sea gulls soaring around the top of the sail.
The company was founded by Edvard (d. 1946) & Gerda (d. 1960) Stromberg, with Gerda doing the designing. Edvard worked as a manager & artist for both Kosta & Orrefors, & is world renown for their beautiful clear & lightly tinted crystal items.
