A wonderful pair of opera glass dating c. 1900 or earlier, in their own leather carrying case. -- Both are in very good condition.
Both eye pieces have "LAMONT PARIS" printed on them. The small, round metal hasp has "a (anchor) D" on it. The case is lined with red silk/satin which is still in very good condition. The black bakelite & leather are also in excellent condition.
The lenses are in very good condition. The case measures 2 3/4" tall & & 4 1/2" long. It's leather lid strap is intact & usable -- the glasses have been gently used. On the bottom of the leather case is stamped: "Made In France".

These wonderful glasses have many more years in them to be used & appreciated.
