A beautifull, intricately designed & decorated wood box with inlaid mother of pearl & what appears to be celluloid with black designs. PLEASE NOTE: Photo #1 displays the true colorings & variations of this very lovely box better than any of the other photos.
The box measures 5 3/4" long by 3 3/4" wide & 2 1/4" deep. It has an excellent brass piano-type hinge. There are no pieces missing & there is a good deal more mother of pearl than the photos reveal. It is in very good condition with exception of a tiny nick on one back corner.

The top has octagonal forms with MOP spokes radiating from a black circular hub. The box is covered with many geometric designs, all executed with care & artistry.
