A very lovely Fenton vase in the scarce Vasa Murrhina glass, in the "Autumn" color, for your review.

The vase is 4 1/4" tall, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The inner casing is white, covered with various shades of browns, orange reds, & sprinkled with silver metallic pieces, & then cased in clear.

The vase dates c. 1964 - 68. The chemist for Fenton re-invented the process for making this glass after he was impressed by an antique piece purchased by Frank Fenton. The process was thought to be lost.

Tll colors in this type of Fenton glass, with the exception of the green, are thought to be scarce to rare.
