A beautiful Flow Blue sauce or gravy boat from 19th century England by W. H. Grindley in "The Duchese" pattern, for your review.
The sauce boat measure 8 1/2" long from the tip of the spout to the back of the handle.

It is 4 1/2" tall at the top of the handle. There is good gold trim along the ornate scalloped rim & ornate handle.
The mark on the base is: "The Duchese W. H Grindley England". In flow blue, there is the word "Derwent" & also a mark in gold. There is a beautiful plate that I have used under the boat even though it is of different pattern, & I will be adding that piece shortly.
