Vintage Western S-532 lock back pocket knife in used but very good condition, for your inspection.
In the closed position the knife is 4 1/4" in length with a 3" blade. The blade is etched with an elk in full stride (my photos have glare on the blade).
The tang is inscribed with: WESTERN U.S.A. S-532 PAT. 4040181. The blade opens stiffly to a firm locked position & it unlocks stiffly & closes with a snap.
The knife has been sharpened & shows fine crocus cloth or similar fine sandpaper marks, but it has not been abused.
The bolsters are stainless steel & show some normal scratch use on one.
The scales are a beautifully grained dark wood held in place with 3 stainless steel pins. The scales show some normal use scuff marks & one small ding.
The knife is quite heavy & is well balanced. It would make an excellent & handsome addition to a collection of quality knives & would also serve as a great pocket item for the sports man. Thank you for stopping at The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:BB-19) |
