This vintage striking & beautiful 9 1/2" tall, somerso Swedish glass vase, c.1950, is signed: "Coquelle" and "Flygfors 57". It is done in black & white in clear-cased glass.
The inner black & white portion of the vase is encased in clear crystal & makes a striking & unusual impression.Flygfors was founded in Sweden in 1888, purchased by Orrefors in 1970 & closed in 1980.
Paul Kedelv designed the Coquelle series of sculptured items in biomorphic shapes in 1950. His works inspired many other glass arts at that time & continues to influence them to this day. Thank you for shopping The Treasure Chest. (Item ID:O-22)
