This is a lovely hand carved, vintage African Kikuyu woman in what is believed to be the red portion of the ebony tree.
This piece is from the collection acquired by Col. Donald Davis, U. S. Army (Ret.), former child movie star in the famous Mack Sennett's movies. Col. Davis lived in East African for some time following WW II.
