Manufacturer: Unknown, possibly Vintage Japan A beautiful pair of sterling silver candelabra, with adjustable sections for holding either 1, 2 or 3 candles at a time.
This is a love pair from the home of Col. Don Davis, U. S. Army (Ret'd.), former child star in Max Sennett's movies under the names of Don Marion & John Henry, Jr. Col. Davis states these were purchased shortly after WW II when the family lived in the Orient.
The candelabra measure 11 1/2" tall to the tip of the center finial.

This finial can be removed & 3 candles can be used.
If you remove the top piece with the finial & 2 arms, you then have a candlestick measuring 6" tall, for the use of one candle.You may then remove the center piece & you have a candleholder measuring 3 3/4" tall.
The pair are in excellent condition with no dents or deeps scratches. Both candelabra are marked on their bases: STERLING & 950.
In addition to the graceful, swooping arms, there is a lovely raised floral pattern traveling around the base of the candelabra.
