This set of six antique pattern glass cup plate are in the Roman Rosette pattern found in the Lee & Rose book on cup plates which is considered the "bible" of cup plates.
The assigned number is #255 & the plates are concave. They are attributed to the Sandwich Glass Co.
These are of "lead crystal" rather than the soda glass found in some cup plates. Hold the plate in your palm & you get the crystal ring when you flick it with your fingernail.
They are in very good condition with the somewhat uneven edges found normally during the extracting of these small items from their molds in the mid-1800's.
