A beautiful set of sterling silver demitasse spoons dating from 1934 in the Candlelight pattern by Towle Silversmiths of Newburyport, Massachusetts, one of America's oldest silver companies.

This is a full set of 8 -- one had become separated from The spoons measure just under 4 1/4" long. Each spoon is marked: TOWLE Sterling Pat. 1934 Candlelight. This pattern is both decorative & elegant for the discerning person. There are no dents or bends. A couple of the spoons have what may be some wear on the bowl's back on close inspection.

The spoons are from the collection of Col. Donald Davis, U. S. Army (Ret'd), former child actor in the famous Mack Sennett movies under the names or Don Morris & John Henry, Jr. Col. Davis has lived & traveled throughout the world & is an avid collector. We are fortunate to offer some of Col. Davis' beautiful items.

This set of sterling demitasse spoons would be an excellent accompaniment to the fabulous set of Minton porcelain demitasse cups & saucers, Item Number UU-15, offered in our shop for Col. Davis. Thank you for stopping by The Treasure Chest.(Item ID:DD-T-09)
