New Mexico Art pottery covered jar w/several ceramic techniques employed in it's design & fabrication. This unique piece was purchased at an estate sale. The heirs said that the former owner had bought it a number of years before at an art gallery in Santa Fe, N.M.

The piece is 9" tall from base to top of lid finial & is 9" in diameter at it's widest. It is signed on the bottom: "Anely Smith" & "84". The full beauty of this item is difficult to capture in a photo but the skill of the artist is apparent. It would make a magnificent centerpiece to a distinguished home.
